what we need
Our number #1 goal is to create a fun learning environment, unlike a classroom. Every moment is a teaching moment. And we desire for each individual to have the opportunity to make friends and feel valued. In our observation, our Clubber friends gravitate and quickly pick up technology. We believe these resources will enhance participants’ time at the Clubhouse and allow our instructors and volunteers better ways to integrate and teach them new vital social skills.
Current project needs include state-of-the-art electronics to improve learning and fun while also increasing the safety of our exceptional needs’ individuals. Cultivating an increased level of independence through recreation is a crucial principle goal. The Clubhouse is seeking funding to purchase the following items for our new location:
Integrated security system with cameras in each room for our new location
Adult Full Support Swing & Wheel Chair Accessible Swing
iPad or android device, educational games and tools, computers, WIFI equipment
Gaming equipment, large screen TV, electronic basketball, new air hockey, and more.
Our new location will allow us to broaden further the services we provide to our clients.
In addition to the above needs, we would like contributions to help fund scholarships for 5 young people for one year: $24,000
