The Reality: The Urgent Needs of Our Growing Family

As our population rapidly expands, so does our responsibility to keep our Clubbers safe, engaged, and learning. To support this growth, we have established a total financial goal of $112,000 to fund critical needs across transportation, financial aid, and technology.

At The Clubhouse for Special Needs, we do not believe in vegetation—we believe in pure enrichment. When you invest in our mission, you are not simply making a charitable donation—you are directly providing vital community infrastructure that allows adults with special needs to build lifelong friendships, learn self-reliance, and step confidently out of isolation.

Whether you contribute a small monthly gift today, shop our classroom needs, or anchor a permanent legacy estate trust, your partnership protects local families. Find the option below that aligns with your heart, and stand with our Clubhouse family today.

$25 Monthly: Sponsor Summer Camp

Don’t let a clubber sit on the sidelines this summer. Give them a season of fun with friends who get them. Swimming, making crafts, laughing together, week after week.

Your sponsorship makes it possible. It covers the cost so no family has to say no. It pays for staff trained to meet each clubber where they are, gear built for their needs, and activities built around what they can do, not what holds them back.

$100 Monthly: Beautify our Property

Picture clubbers stepping outside into a yard built just for them.

A raised garden bed gives clubbers a reason to get their hands in the dirt, plant something, and watch it grow. For a lot of clubbers, that kind of hands-on care is calming. It also gives them pride in something that’s theirs.

A pergola means shade. In Texas heat, shade is the difference between five minutes outside and an afternoon outside. More shade means more time in the fresh air, more room to rest, eat, or just be outside without rushing back in.

A flagstone path with xeriscape planting and decomposed granite ties the whole yard together. It’s also about access. A smooth, solid path means clubbers using wheelchairs or walkers can move through the garden just as easily as anyone else.

Together, these upgrades turn a yard into a space clubbers can grow things in, gather in, and move through freely, all summer and beyond.

$350-$700 Monthly: Tuition Assistance

Tuition is what keeps a clubber in the program. Without it, a family has to choose between paying for camp and covering rent, groceries, or medical bills. Too often, that choice means the clubber stays home.

Your sponsorship covers that cost. It means a clubber shows up every day, works with staff who know them, and builds friendships that last beyond the summer. It means a parent gets a break they need, without guilt over the bill.

Tuition isn’t just a fee. It’s the difference between a clubber staying home alone and a clubber spending their summer with people who care about them.

Capital Gift: Sprinter Van

Right now, an outing depends on who’s available to drive. If there aren’t enough volunteer drivers, or not enough seats, some clubbers stay behind while their friends go.

A van changes that. It means every clubber who wants to go, goes. No outing gets scaled back because of a seating count. No family gets a call saying there wasn’t room.

This lead gift of $15,000 puts The Clubhouse in charge of its own transportation. Staff can plan trips around what’s good for clubbers, not around who happens to be free that day. It’s one gift that means every clubber gets the same shot at every outing, all year.
